Exclusive to Birds Off, The Prowler Owl decoy resembles the ultimate, most-feared aerial predator; the Great Horned Owl, which catches and eats almost anything that moves. Birds instinctively avoid the Prowler Owl as they would avoid a real Great Horned owl. This one should be mounted on a stick and has cloth arms that flap and move about in the breeze. (Please note pole not supplied.) Its large and life like and is the ultimate visual decoy.
The Prowler Owl comes flat packed for shipping purposes and takes about 4 minutes to assemble and get ready. The sock or main part of the body is deep and allows the decoy to flutter in the breeze and rotate with the wind.
Mount on a post, Ariel, pvc plumbers pipe or stick up high to catch the wind and make the wings flap around and move. Makes it extra real.

HAPPY CUSTOMERS.
I've tried numerous things to get rid of pigeons in the past. I bought the Prowler Owl to control stubborn pigeons in and around a canopy. At first, I felt silly carrying the owl around and hid it behind my back until I got close enough to the birds. At that point, I pulled it from behind my back and the birds panicked! They flew away from under the canopy immediately as the owl moved in the wind. Ever since we posted the owl in our facility we haven't had birds near it for several days.

Control is an ongoing problem inside and out. Our pigeon problem was a constant headache. Trapping was long, tedious and expensive. Shooting or poisoning was prohibited. Results with the Prowler Owl were immediate and we no longer have a serious problem with birds. We have purchased two more and they will protect our other buildings. I would like to thank you for a very economical solution for an expensive problem.
All Birds Off products have been trialled and tested and do not harm birds. Products are not sold on a trial and return basis. The parrots were digging up my lawn so I bought the Prowler owl. It worked for a couple of days but now even after moving it around the birds dig up the lawn directly under the owl. I have just put down bird netting over the lawn to see if that works. I will leave the owl there for another couple of weeks but if it still has no effect I will be discarding it.

Put it on some copper pipe so it can spin around- worked a treat on our growing lawn. Need to move them from time to time. Tough & hardy too

This product works the best at keeping finches, and swallows of the boat. I have tried flags, spinning apparatus, noise machines and automatic sprinklers. I would have givin 5 stars but the wings are fragile and have to be relaced every few months, that being said they are not expensive. Thank you Jackie for all your help! until the next order, Ciao Sog

The Prowler Owl has been very effective in keeping seagulls off our lakeside deck and jetty. One pair in particular had taken up “residence “.
I simply mount the owl on our umbrella base intermittently. They don’t like it at all!

We had a couple pest birds attacking our reflective windows from the crack of dawn, but since putting up the owl... we call him Geoffrey, we have not had any sleep deprived mornings. No window attacks for about 2 weeks now which is brilliant!!
Geoffrey looks quite realistic with the wings flapping in the breeze and he spins on his pole so there is some good variety in his direction.
Good product for what we needed it for!

I am a #1 deckie on a game boat in QLD, I have been struggling to keep these little pests of the boat! I tried flags, sensor controlled sprinkler but the birds too small and to quick for sensor to react! So I tried the owl 1 at first and I was amazed at the reduction of birds and bird s###, now have 3, 1 on the bow, 1 a mid ship, the other at cockpit area, 53ft boat and no birds or s###, once in awhile you might get the occasional big bird but 0 swallows! I recommend this product highly!

We live on 5 acres and have recently been bothered by pee-wees messing all over our back patio furniture. We installed a prowler owl a bit over a week ago and so far no more mess.

Put a prowler owl in our machinery shed to deter swallows. So far have not seen one swallow in the shed which is quite large (18m x 18m). Very happy with the results so far and I the only reason I didn't go 5 stars is due to only having the owl for a few weeks. I`ll reserve my last star for 1-2 years down the track. Very happy at this stage however.

We call our pet Burtie. We don't need to feed him and he does a great job at keeping our not so friendly birds away. The wing span is impressive and he flaps and turns in the breeze. We have him on our marina dock and have sent you a photo of him in our new home! So far, he has been flying for 8 months with out a break. Poor him!!
